Rebecca Watson and Brian Dunning Interview – Prominent People Project (TAMOz edition)

Posted by on December 6, 2010 in Thoughts | 2 comments

In November this year, hundreds of people congregated in Sydney for the first ever TAM to be held in Australia. From all accounts, the talks were very entertaining and informative, and the event was hailed a success by all present. Alongside the main TAM event, others had organised side events in Sydney and Melbourne. Unfortunately I couldn’t be in Sydney, but I did manage to catch up with two of the presenters in person when they made there way to Melbourne for two of the Melbourne-based TAM side events the following week. Over two nights we listened to talks by them both, and afterwards I met and talked separately to Rebecca Watson, founder of and blogger at skepchick.org, and Brian Dunning, podcaster and founder of skeptoid.com.

The audio file below is an edited version what they each had to say on a range of topics around skepticism, atheism, and the importance of being skeptical.

I’d just like to thank Brian and Rebecca for their time, and make sure you go check out their respective sites. Don;t forget to go check out their sites and subscribe to their podcasts! You won’t be disappointed.
