CJ Werleman Interview – Prominent People Project
CJ Werleman joined me via Skype to talk about his new book “Koran Curious: A Guide for Infidels and Believers“, in which he tackles the taboo subjects of Islam, The Koran and Mohammed, in context with the time it was written and the circumstances that Mohammed lived under. Have a listen, CJ is a very entertaining fellow, and it was great to catch up with him.

LikeThank you for posting the interview, Marty! That was great! Can't say I agree with every point of his views, but hey, who wants to end up as Theo van Gogh. Free speech hasn't became a norm in our lives yet. I'm sure he has done an enormous research before writing this book, but I'm concerned about his sugaring, in the interview, brutal parts of Islam, justifying violence by tough adolescent years of Muhammad. History teaches us not to curtsey to religion, it never ends up well. Liked his take on absolute necessity of acknowledgment, diplomatic approach, and talk about intertwining religions, cultures, and traditions in modern society.
