Peter Cundall – beyond atheism

Posted by on October 19, 2011 in Quick Note, Thoughts | 7 comments

Longtime host of ABC’s “Gardening Australia”, the much loved Peter Cundall was recently interviewed for ABC’s religious program “Compass”, asking about the more ethereal moments of life, and the search for meaning. His life has been one of incredible hardship, but also an incredible passion for life. Please take the half hour to watch this.

He touches on many of the same feelings I have about life, death, wonder, awe, simplicity, stillness and death.

That was an absolute pleasure. Thank you for being a real human being Peter.

I hope that someday I will have had a life as full as this man has, and that I can share it with others as he has done. thanks Martin

Fantastic, thanks Martin. That was compelling viewing. I'm not sure I've ever heard all my views exactly spoken in TV like that!

That was awesome, actually. Time would pass so quickly spending an afternoon listening to his stories.

Thanks Martin, looks really interesting. I'll watch it when I get home tonight.

That man is bloomin' marvelous!!
